Staging Homes

January 2, 2008, - Housing sales are at a trickle here in Fresno County. Currently there are 5000 homes for sale in the Fresno-Clovis area compared to 2005 when there were only about 700. Staging is one way to get a sale.

Agents will agree selling a home is a challenge with so much competition. What used to take about two weeks is now taking about six months to sell.

Staging is preparing and dressing up a home to make it desireable when it is viewed. You only have that first impression and you want it to be a lasting first impression that results in a sale and more importantly saving you thousands of dollars by selling your home faster and getting more for your home by making it unique and more appealing than the competition.

If your home is vacant, staging one or two rooms may be all that is necessary.
